Embracing a New Era of Marketing
The new era of marketing is about moving away from problem aware agitational content towards empowering your people to step into their greatness. It’s about making people feel fucking incredible and remembering they have always have the power to do this.
We are done with the cookie cutter ‘steal my approach’, ‘3 reasons why your business isn’t working’ era, consumers are smart and they don’t want to feel less than when they read your content so make your people feel good, inspire them.
Problem aware content still has its place, you can include it subtly and tastefully within your marketing but instead of constantly pedestalling you and your greatness, it’s about pedestalling theirs.
Stop talking to people’s minds and get them in their bodies to leave a lasting impression that calls them to move.
Elevated Personal and Business Branding
Having a strong personal and/or business brand has been a growing trend in 2022. As the industry becomes more established, branding is becoming essential to stand out in the marketplace. There is a big difference between building a business and building a brand. A brand is seen and felt, your brand makes your mission tangible. When you BRAND yourself intentionally, your competitors become IRRELEVANT. You become THE ONE in the eyes of your soul-aligned client, this extends far beyond your logo and aesthetic. Developing your own point of view, showcasing your values and knowing what you stand for as a brand is going to be key to the success of your business.
Preventing burnout to scale sustainably
Coaching that supports my clients to prevent or recover from burnout has been a common thread and growing trend in 2022. In 2023 I believe we are going to continue to see more conversations on holistic business, integrating life and business to scale sustainably. The reality is, your productivity actually increases when you put your needs first. As coaches, mentors, leaders and service providers within the space I believe we have a responsibility to proactively raise this topic. We play an important role in burnout prevention and recovery by providing individualised support to our clients to ensure their business is built in alignment with their energy, capacity and season of life. This deepens our first point around it’s no longer about a cookie cutter strategy, there is no one and done approach to business. In 2023 it’s about building a sustainable business module, structure and embracing the strategies and systems that enable you to feel held within your business.
Authenticity is everything when it comes to marketing yourself. Simply put, being authentic means staying true to who you are, what you do and who you serve. An unmatched feeling of connection is felt through the congregant energy that comes with being authentic to who you are and being in integrity with your message. People love real people – so ditch the boxes and infuse who you are into your brand, this is critical for building trust and respect. A great personal brand is one that is authentic and connected to who you are as a person. It magnifies your magic, stories, wisdom and knowledge in a way that is appealing to a specific audience.

Incorporating somatic healing and body based practices
Everything is energy and the body keeps score. I believe somatic healing practices hold a firm place in business and body based business is going to be a huge trend to help release what’s holding you back. Be it a tightness in your chest or an ache in your lower back that won’t go away. The physical body holds everything, embracing somatic practices as you scale your business can help to release things that need to be addressed so that you can step into your next level and move through resistance more easefully.
This term isn’t new and it’s thrown around in the industry but consumers are smart. True embodiment is the representation or expression of something in a tangible or visible form. As coach, healer and leader in the space you becoming the living, breathing embodiment of what you teach will transform the way you lead and it will ripple out into every element of your business. We can see through the false claims, we want to be in the room with leaders who walk their talk. Embodiment is when your actions consistently reflect your values and your commitment, especially under pressure. If something isn’t selling in your business, ask yourself am I in integrity with this message? Congruent energy is everything. Embodied Leadership is about learning to lead at a deeper, more fundamental level by working through your body to form deeper levels of self-awareness, to ultimately teach from embodied wisdom. Prioritising this in your business will develop your capacity to be the leader you want to be, and achieve what you are committed to achieving.
Building Holistic Wealth
People are craving a deeper level of fulfilment in every area of life. A holistic approach to anything means considering and integrating all aspects of something together, instead of handling each one individually. You can harness this in your business by taking a holistic approach to your area of expertise. Holistic wealth emphasises wealth across all key aspects of life, including financial wealth; physical health, emotional and spiritual wealth; as well as wealth in our relationships with others and contributions to our wider communities. Let me be clear this is not about becoming a jack of all trades, in fact I encourage you to stay focused on your area of expertise. However, knowing and being prepared that people are raising all aspects of their lives with their coach will benefit you. Consider how you can leverage your network or provide resources to support your clients holistically. You can have the best strategy in the world, but if you don’t get enough sleep or fail to drink enough water, you’re likely going to struggle to execute. If you focus on selling but forgo long-term financial literacy, you likely won’t reach your goal. (You might reach it, but you are not likely to maintain it or build long-term generational wealth.) All aspects coming together to work holistically, will help you achieve your ultimate goal. I’m here to embrace the healthiest, wealthiest season in my life and likely your clients are too.

We are going to see a rise in creative expression and visual storytelling. As a creative founder your job is to take something that didn’t exist before and bring it to the world in the form of a solution, product, service and in the form of content.The founders that get behind this to creatively express their vision are going to be the ones that build timeless brands and create movements. Now more than ever the visuals, imagery, videos and the voice you use to express your product, services and company mission matter.This is going to be key to standing out in the marketplace.
